Parker Kligerman’s 2026 Truck Series Future in Doubt as Henderson Motorsports Seeks Funding

Henderson Motorsports has entered 2026 in a holding pattern, leaving veteran driver Parker Kligerman’s season hanging by a thread as the team searches for funding. Crew chief Chris Carrier told SiriusXM NASCAR the outfit would love to see Kligerman back in the No. 75 truck, but sponsorship is the critical barrier. With Spiked Coolers listed as the only remaining backer, the team has yet to announce any plans or a schedule for Kligerman in 2026, making even a part-time return contingent on finding additional partners.

The uncertainty is especially striking given Henderson’s long history in NASCAR. Although the team didn’t join the Truck Series until 2012, the organization traces its roots back to 1982 and is among the sport’s longest-running operations. That legacy and Kligerman’s experience in the Craftsman Truck Series have done little to blunt the immediate pressure: each week without confirmed funding raises the risk that the No. 75 Chevrolet could sit idle when the season begins.

Kligerman’s 2025 campaign added to the drama. At Daytona he initially crossed the line first before the victory was overturned after post-race inspection — a high-profile near miss that underscored both his competitiveness and the thin margins teams face. Henderson says announcements will come once decisions are finalized, but until sponsors step forward the crew chief’s “holding pattern” phrasing remains apt; fans and industry observers are left wondering whether the familiar face of Kligerman will return to a truck that has produced memorable moments.

The situation at Henderson also comes amid other Truck Series news: IndyCar champion Dario Franchitti is reported to be returning to the series with Toyota for 2026, though the team set to field his entry has not been revealed. For Henderson Motorsports, however, the immediate focus is survival—securing enough sponsorship to field the No. 75 at all. Time is short as the season approaches, and the team’s next moves will determine whether a long-running organization keeps its place on the grid or faces an uncertain offseason outcome.
